Arthritis Foundation Aquatic ProgramArthritis Foundation Aquatic Program       Tuesday and Thursday at Noon
We are proud to be offering the Arthritis Foundation Aquatics Program, Tuesday and Thursday at noon. Instructed by Arthritis Foundation certified Theresa Carnicelli.

Water is a safe, ideal environment for relieving arthritis pain and stiffness. That's why the Arthritis Foundation offers its Aquatic Program, designed to safely keep your joints moving and improve your sense of well-being.

The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program allows you to exercise without putting excess strain on your joints and muscles. The gentle activities in warm water, with guidance from a trained instructor, will help you gain strength and flexibility. Participants enjoy as pain and stiffness decrease.




Baby SwimBaby Swim       
Baby swim is a time designated for parents and babies to enjoy the soothing warm water together. For ages 3 months to 3 years.



Family SwimFamily Swim       
Families and friends are encouraged to join us for the Family Swim on Monday and Wednesday evenings, as well as early Saturday afternoons for fun.

Instructed Aquatic ExerciseInstructed Aquatic Exercise       
A combination of shallow and deep-water exercises offers a good, low impact workout emphasizing: stretching, strengthening, range of motion and mild aerobic activity.

Schedule a Pool Rental
The Tamarack Wellness Center is available for rent by the hour. Special events such as Birthday Parties, Baptisms, anniversaries or any organization wishing to have a private spa and swim can be rented for $145.00 per hour with tables and chairs. We also provide two Tamarack Wellness Center Lifeguards to oversee your event. The pool is all yours during this time and not open to the public. Aqua Yoga Aqua Yoga        
Learn ways to stretch, move and enjoy your body in the support of warm water, using classical yoga postures adapted for the water. This class is designed for soothing joint and muscle pain, as well as relieving stress. In the 92-degree, therapeutic pool, experience release, freedom and ease. Pre-registration is recommended. Prenatal ClassPrenatal Class       
The Tamarack Wellness Center is excited about offering our “Warm Welcome” pre-natal aquatics class. Partial and full scholarships are available for individuals on a lower income status.

The Instructor of the class will be presenting deep water exercise; encompassing stretching, water walking, range of motion, breathing exercises and Ai-Chi exercises.

The class is scheduled for 1 hour on Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Learn to move naturally with your baby, in the warm healing waters of the Tamarack Wellness Center Pool.

Gentle Arthritis StretchGentle Arthritis Stretch       
The slow, steady movements make it the ideal class for beginners, as well as those with arthritis or similar conditions. The emphasis is on maintaining or improving range of motion throughout the body.

A flowing series of exercises. Focus is on relieving chronic, limiting pain through slow movement in the water, deep breathing, stretching, and meditation techniques.



Lap SwimLap Swim       
Especially for those wishing to swim continuously for fitness. Slow and medium lanes available. Work as hard as you like in a noncompetitive setting.



Open SwimOpen Swim       
An uninstructed time for participants who wish to exercise on their own.
