Sue Sherman, Director
Sue took over Yoga Workout (as it was previously named) in May of 1996. The change of name reflects Sue’s vision for the facility as a place where a broad range of activities can occur for the exploration of the body, mind and spirit. Sue is a healer with a private practice using Integrated Kabbalistic Healing, breathwork, Hakomi and energy work. Anyone interested in exploring these healing modalities is invited to call Sue at Four Winds. |
Dave Curtis, Yoga Program Director
Dave Curtis has been practicing yoga for over ten years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to both his classes and his own personal practice. Dave's class is a place to learn and practice the fundamentals of yoga. Whether you are completely new to yoga, or a continuing student, with an already established familiarity with asana practice, Dave will be your guide in this hour and a half practice session. |
Donna O’Neil, RYT
A natural and lifelong teacher, Donna was certified to teach hatha yoga in 1995 through Ananda Yoga. She is also certified to teach Meditation, Therapeutic, Cardiac Rehabilitative and Restorative Yoga, and continues her studies in Anusara yoga. In her practice of yoga she feels a joy and freedom she loves to share with others. Her classes guide the student in a deep experience of the body and into the heart of our Highest Self. A perpetual student as well as teacher, Donna is grateful to the teachers who have guided her. |
Janet Hollander
Janet has taught chair-based exercise since 1982. With a B.A. in gerontology, specializing in older adult fitness, she joyfully shares her expertise and years of experience in working with older adults to facilitate a sense of health and wellbeing. |
Jennifer Hartman
Certified as a Sivananda Yoga teacher in 2003, Jennifer is enthusiastically devoted to her own practice and study of yoga, and brings this wealth into her teaching. Her smile makes students feel welcome; her style challenging, yet centering, helps create a satisfying experience for all students. |
Karen Lackritz
Karen is a Certified Advanced Rolfer, a Rolf Movement Practitioner and faculty member at the Rolf Institute. She has been studying yoga intensively with Sianna Sherman and John Friend for the past 5 years, and is now an Affiliated Anusara Yoga Teacher. She has also studied Ashtanga Yoga with Richard Freeman. Her class reflects her therapeutic background and impeccable knowledge of the body structure, encouraging integration, flow and ease of movement for practicing yogis. |
Lynne Mahan
Lynne has been practicing yoga for over 40 years and teaching since 1976. International communities in Iran, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia provided a culturally diverse environment in which she shared the benefits of yoga. Her classes encourage the conscious integration of body, mind and spirit for healing and rejuvenation through pranayama, and meditative techniques. Lynne is also a certified Creating Health instructor for Deepak Chopra. |
Michele Bulgatz
Michele is an enthusiastic Anusara Yoga teacher and student. She teaches with passion, energy and humor galore. Each persons unique spirit is honored and helps to co-create a radiant community light. From this deep place we can respond in the highest to whatever comes our way. We embrace life! She loves to sing, dance, create, play outside and laugh out loud. |

Shoshanah Thielle, LMT
Shoshanah Thielle has been helping people heal themselves for over 30 years.She teaches Shoshi Yoga, a Viniyoga-Inspired yoga, which emphasizes deep focused breathing, connected with movement. Shoshanah is also a massage therapist and Reiki Master. She brings her many years of experience to teach a class that is creative and inspiring! |
Tom Clark
Tom started his practice of yoga in the Ashtanga vinyasa style in 1995 and is now completing his training in Anusara Yoga. Grateful to experience masterful teachers, he sees yoga as a path for optimizing our own evolution as spiritual beings. Using clear explanations and visualizations, he guides the yoga practitioner to explore not only the body but the essential nature of the heart. |
Will Mitchell
Will Mitchell started his yoga practice over 25 years ago in his native Australia. He started teaching in 1992 in Hawaii, and has taught classes in Japan and throughout the U.S. He has studied B.K.S., Prashant, and Geeta Iyengar in Pune, India, and has attended workshops with such teachers as Aadil Pahlkivala, Ana Forrest, and David Swenson. Blending Iyengar yoga's attention to form, detail, and alignment with the flow and fire of other approaches, Will brings a gentle humor to his eclectic blend of yoga styles. Will also studies Ayurvedic nutrition, maintains a meditation practice, and is trained as a professional artist. |
Oliver Wilson
Oliver Wilson has studied Tai Chi, Qigong and Taoist Meditation with Master Bruce Kumar Frantzis since 1994. |
