Nine Month Certification Course
This nine month training program is structured into three conveniently
scheduled modules. Each module is scheduled for three weekends 
throughout the school quarter. This program is focused on gaining    
knowledge about the different herbs, their uses and the traditions from
which they come.  Includes extensive digital class materials.
Previous herbal experience is helpful.
 
Modules are not necessarily sequential. You may start the program with any
module and they can be taken in any order.

Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa, DN-C, RH, is nationally certified in dietetics/nutrition and herbalism. He has practiced Ayurveda for 35 years, and was a principal developer of Yogi Tea company product lines. He is the only American to hold the title, “Yogaraj Ayurvedic Herbalist."

Khalsa is the author of over 1,200 published health articles, has written or edited 30 books on health topics, and writes monthly features for many popular magazines, including Herbs for Health and Better Nutrition. He has presented over 150 times at national and state conferences and is featured in 3 DVD continuing education courses on herbal medicine and nutrition.

He is a senior editor for The Harvard University Natural Standard and a professor at Bastyr University’s College of Naturopathic Medicine. Khalsa is the herbalist for Yogi Tea, the popular Ayurvedic medicinal tea company that has its headquarters in Eugene, Oregon.
