What is MBSM ? Mindfulness-Based Stress Mastery (MBSM) is a science based, theory driven program of stress management and behavioral control. Mindfulness is defined “as a state of being aware of and attentive to the present moment, non-judgmentally”.

Program Goal: To learn how to be in control of our own mind... Instead of letting your mind be in control of you. When you chose to join our group you will discover a systematic approach to developing new kinds of control and wisdom.
Skills offered in this program are based upon our inner capacities for relaxation, paying attention, awareness and insight. Progress is accomplished by developing skills in paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally.

Program Objectives are accomplished through personal instruction and individually guided practice with specifically selected mind and body stress reduction skills:
* Mind and body coordination
* Body posture and movement
* Breath work
* Attention training
* Conflict Resolution Skills
* Communication Skills
* Meditation: Sitting / Standing
* Participation in this program, along with integration of these skills can be life changing.
